Accessibility Statement
Abintegro is committed to ensuring that the career-building tools provided via this website are accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.
We are committed to implementing all necessary reasonable adjustments to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and, in doing so, adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.
We proactively work with all our clients to understand specific priorities and requirements. Where possible we work with Disabilities and Equalities officers (or similar) to ensure we receive representative feedback on our site.
Guidelines and Standards
We aim to be fully DDA compliant and endeavour to conform to Level AA of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Content Accessibility Guidelines.
This site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for XHTML and CSS. The site displays correctly in current browsers including IE 6.0, IE 7.0, IE 8.0, Firefox and Safari and means that, using standards compliant code, any future browsers will display it correctly.
Examples of areas that we have addressed are:
- Page Structure is conveyed using header elements
- Images that convey important information have alternative text. Where an image is used for a decorative purpose the alternative text will be left blank
- Implementing user-friendly help messages in content and on application forms to assist users completing information
- All tutorial videos will have transcripts that are downloadable in text-based format
- The site has been designed and is being tested using Vischeck colour vision impairment simulators and JAWS screen reader
- No information is exclusively conveyed using colours
- A Site Map is available to provide information about the layout of our website
Exceptions
Whilst abintegro strive to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website.
Adobe PDF files are used on this website. To read a PDF document with a screen reader, visit the Access Adobe website (external website). You can also use Adobe’s free online PDF to HTML converter to view the files as web pages.
